BALTIMORE—(BUSINESS WIRE)—June 15, 2006— SafeNet, Inc. (NASDAQ:SFNT), setting the standard for information security, today announced that Dynamic Survey Solutions, developer of the highly successful GPSeismic(R) suite of software applications, has chosen SafeNet Sentinel Hardware Keys to secure its applications.

Dynamic Survey Solutions has been using hardware security to protect its software since 1993. After extensive research to evaluate various vendors to update their technology, Dynamic Survey Solutions chose to implement the new SafeNet Sentinel Hardware Keys.

"In my opinion, the Sentinel Hardware Key is the best solution out there to protect my software from piracy and prevent lost revenue," said Cliff Harris, president, Dynamic Survey Solutions. "I worked directly with SafeNet's engineering team on our unique deployment. SafeNet has top notch people across the board. I am so appreciative of all the work they've done with me. It showed the dedication that everyone at SafeNet has to satisfy the customer. My customers who now have the new Sentinel Hardware Keys love them. I certainly feel confident that I made the right decision. I am ecstatic with the product."

The GPSeismic(R) suite of software applications are geared towards the seismic survey industry and support more than 40 types of survey instruments ranging from GPS to conventional to inertial. GPSeismic(R) has been actively maintained and supported for over ten years and is the result of more than 1,000 requests from their user base.

"We're pleased to have been selected by Dynamic Survey Solutions," said Ken Chow, general manager, SafeNet's Software Protection Business Unit. "With Sentinel Hardware Keys providers of advanced software, such as GPSeismic, can prevent revenue loss by using military-grade security to protect their applications from unauthorized use."

Sentinel Hardware Keys are SafeNet's industry-leading hardware tokens which, when attached to a computer or network, monitor and enforce the licensing of products which have been protected using this solution. Sentinel Hardware Keys deliver military-grade security through public key cryptography, AES encryption and internal authentication. Sentinel Hardware Keys are one of the main components of SafeNet's Unified Software Protection, the world's first comprehensive solution for protecting software products from unauthorized use and distribution.
